Easy Miso Pasta

Hey guys!

I was scrolling Instagram last night and came across three pasta posts. It was definitely a sign for me to make some pasta!

Miso Pasta

Recipe from @brekkyattiffanys

• 2-3 servings spaghetti
• 3 tbsp butter
• 1-2 tbsp of miso
• 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
• 1/2 cup pasta water
• top with furikake (optional)

I didn't have parmesan cheese, or any other kinds of cheese at home so I skipped that. I also cut down the amount of butter and added chopped ham and topped it off with a nice fried egg! Generally I loosely followed the recipe and mostly eyeballed everything.

First, cook your pasta and set it aside.

In a pan, heat up your butter and ham or other ingredients.

Next I added a couple ladles of pasta water and mixed in the miso paste. Make sure to mix it well!

Finally, stir in your pasta and let it soak up some of the delicious sauce.

This is the miso paste I use. We buy it from Don Don Donki.

I fried the eggs last and added some black pepper.

Lunch is served!

Here's a furikake version, as suggested by the original recipe.

This vegetable flavoured one is also from Don Don Donki. It's a little too salty for me though.

Yum!

That's another new recipe for the keeps.

It's super easy, and what I like about it is that it doesn't require cooking cream or milk.

Enjoy!

Love,
Skye
