Pasta e Formaggio at Marina Square

Heyo!

What have you guys been up to? I can't believe it's already halfway through July. It's ridiculous how time flies so fast.

I went to Marina Square to check out this restaurant called Pasta e Formaggio. I think formaggio means 'cheese' in Italian!

We found that the restaurant was a hotspot for CBD workers to have a meal with their colleagues.

Tiger Prawn Aglio Olio $13.90
Five hugeee tiger prawns! Loved the sauce used here too.

Risotto di Caprese e Prosciutto Parma $14.90
This risotto was pretty, and creamy but I felt that the flavours didn't blend well. I'm indifferent towards Parma Ham so no comments on it. The buffalo Mozzarella cheese could be more melted though!

Much preferred the pasta for its stronger savoury flavour.

It was a simple, fuss-free and no frills meal! Plating and food was decent but didn't WOW us. We used Burpple Beyond (again) so we only paid $14.90 in total. If Saizeriya is a 2, I think Pasta e Formaggio is about 6.5. Good enough~

However, if you have no BB 1-for-1, there is a $9.90 lunch set that includes a soup/garlic bread, main and drink of choice. We overheard some guy saying, "So worth it!"

You can pay with Grabpay too! Yay to collecting points.
