My Top 3 Smoothie Recipes

Hey there!

Recently I've been into blending smoothies! It's an easy way to simultaneously clear fruits from the fridge and make it a fancy drink to enjoy. I use a Powerpac Bullet Blender, it's a 21 piece set with different containers and blades etc for about $20!

1. Peanut Butter and Banana

One way to spice up the classic banana milkshake is to add some peanut butter! It adds a new salty dimension to it, and if you use chunky PB, you get some extra crunch.

What you need:

  • Banana
  • Milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter



2. Avocado and Milo Smoothie

I first learnt of this combination when we were jamming at DB's house! Haha loved it. Some people find it a strange combination but milo is like chocolate...so it's basically an avocado and chocolate combi. 

What you need:

  • Avocado
  • Milo
  • Milk

You can also save the avocado seed and try to grow it! More on that in another post.

3. Apple Yoghurt

I drink this when I want something creamy but also want to feel somewhat healthy. Lol.

What you need:

  • An apple
  • Yoghurt (I used a honey yoghurt, thinking of using Yakult next time.)
  • Milk 

If I had some nuts like almonds or pecans, I think crushing them and adding it would be a nice touch too.
